Duncan Binnie
Duncan Binnie’s connection to the automotive world began early, shaped by a family tradition of collecting and racing. Growing up around exceptional vintage cars, he developed a lasting appreciation for the craftsmanship, history, and driving character that define great automobiles. While in college, he began brokering collector cars—an experience that grounded his passion in practical knowledge of the market and the people in it.
After graduating, Duncan built a successful career in real estate, while continuing to stay closely involved with classic automobiles. A multi-generational relationship with D. L. George ultimately evolved into Binnie & George, where he focuses on vintage European sports and competition cars. Outside of work, Duncan remains an active enthusiast and can often be found behind the wheel of his Lotus Seven.
David L. George, III
David L. George III is a third-generation automotive restorer and principal of D. L. George Historic Motorcars. Raised in the family workshop, he was immersed in the craft from an early age and trained under demanding standards that shaped his technical depth, discipline, and attention to detail.
After completing his collegiate studies and a brief period working for Duncan Binnie’s uncle, David returned to the family business. He assumed leadership following the passing of his father in mid-2021 and has continued to guide the company with a steady focus on quality, accountability, and client trust. Working alongside a dedicated team, David ensures each restoration and transaction reflects the highest standards—honoring the legacy of the George name while moving it forward. Known for a straightforward, low-pressure approach, he is committed to helping clients and friends achieve their automotive goals with integrity and confidence.
